tekmasters is small computer retailer based in Palm Springs, California. With over 10 years of experience repairing and servicing both Macs and PC's, tekmasters's goal is to become the premier computer service and retailer in the Coachella Valley.
We focuse on service by providing straight forward, compasssionate and accurate help to our customers. We believe in acting with honest intentions and making it easy to do business with us.
We support the enviroment by trying to make our business as envorimentaly friendly as possible and our community by engaging and supporting local charities and causes. This commitment includes our support of MDA, monetary donations, advisory board participation, volunteer programs and product donations.
tekmasters receives dozens of requests for charitable giving every month. In order to make a meaningful difference for the organizations we support, we look for consistent, quality philanthropic programs that improve and change lives.
Please follow these steps if you would like to submit a request for a charitable contribution from tekmasters and ensure your request meets the criteria for selection below:
1. Eligible areas for requests:
Health and human services
Education
Civic and community involvement
Environment
2. The IRS letter certifying 501(c)(3) exempt status
3. Evidence that the service is a response to a valid need, is superior to other competing services and/or encourages collaboration with other organizations for maximum leverage

Below is a list of proposal types not eligible for consideration:
1. Direct donations to individuals (i.e. scholarship or fellowship assistance, pageants, medical funds, sponsorships)
2. Endowment, Capital or building campaigns
3. Equipment, including computer hardware and software
4. Film or video projects, including documentaries
5. For-Profit entities, including start-up small businesses
6. Hospitals
7. Marketing activities or events centered on sports/athletic personalities and/or their activities
8. Multi-year requests
9. Political, labor, religious or fraternal organizations/activities
10. Promotional merchandise
11. Travel-related, including student trips or tours
12. Vehicles
